Finally a fish and chips chop that doesn’t weigh their fish set prices on fish🤗 barramundi was cooked perfectly. Calamari were tender and the potato cakes were delicious. Reminded me of the old style fish and chips. Gravy was a bit heavy for my liking but that was an add on for my chips. The shop had these beautiful aromas from the burgers they were cooking. Will be back for sure.

For that old school fish and chip shop, you can't really go past Charlie de cod. Felt like stepping back in time, and yep, even the prices. $18 for a Fisherman's Basket that is fully loaded with the deep fried seafood goodness you'd ever want. Sure, it's not the worlda greatest fish and chips, but for $18 in this day and age, it absolutely does a great job. It's a really good crumb on all the seafood. It's a great batter on the potato scallops, and the fries with chicken salt hit the mark. And for deep fried food, not as oily as one would think. All in all, it's a decent fisho, which I'll happily support whenever I feel like Fish n Chips
